Children's workshops at bake-a-boo this summer

The summer is nearly over and everyone is getting ready to go back to school, we've been having fun over the summer, hosting our summer workshops for children at bake-a-boo. We've had a weekly workshop with different theme & activities. They have all proved very popular, so they will definately be back in the next school holiday, by popular demand....can't wait for half term week...halloween! yey! Bake-a-boo cupcake workshop makes the press..

Here's our lovely Michelle with some of the kids who attended our cupcake decorating workshop, which was one of our weekly children's workshops throughout the summer. The children on the cupcake workshop decorated cupcakes and also made sparkly jewelled cupcake hanging decorations to take home and hang. Burlesque cupcakes

Here's some cupcakes I made for the fabulous burlesque dancing ladies, Lulu Blue, Sall-inki and Brandy. These dancing ladies have been making me smile every week, so this week I treated them. Thank you Lucy for "putting a spell on me" see you soon xxx

Gemma's 25th tea party cupcakes

Here's some cupcakes we did for Gemma's tea party to celebrate her 25th Birthday. Gemma had half pink cupcakes and half baileys cupcakes, we tried to incorporate as many stars as we could, as Gemma loves stars, and so do we!! Happy Birthday Gemma xx

suprise tea party for our Michelle

On Saturday we celebrated 'Team Boo' member, Michelles birthday at bake-a-boo. We had a tough week keeping secrets from her, as we threw her a suprise tea party in the shop with all her family, she was very suprised (yey we pulled it off) and there were also tears! bless her. We had a lovely afternoon, and I'm so glad that we had a chance to spoil her, as she really does deserve it all. Happy Birthday Michelle xxx

Thank you to lovely Cat who sent us in some pictures of her weddding cupcakes and top cake that we did back in June. She also sent us a hilarious video clip of her super cool first dance...but that's a whole other story! but it certainly gave us a great laugh in the kitchen. Thanks so much for the great photos Cat, glad you had a fabulous wedding, and that we have started you off in married life being hooked on cupcakes!!! x

Tun & Zibby's wedding cupcakes

Last week we did 200 cupcakes for Tun and Zibby for their wedding. They wanted natural colours and toppings, so we did raspberry icing and blackberry icings coloured with raspberries and blackberries and then just a vanilla butter icing, topped with daisies cherries and pastel sprinkles, we also did some vegan, for their vegan guests, not shown here, these were topped with butterflies. Tun and Zibby celebrated their wedding in the botanical garden with food made by all their friends! We hope you had a fantastic day. Congratulations Tun & Zibby x

Jill's Alice in Wonderland/Queen of hearts tea party

Yesterday we celebrated Jill's 30th Birthday party at bake-a-boo with an Alice in Wonderland/Queen of hearts tea party for her and her friends. They enjoyed afternoon tea with red hearts and card sign napkins and confetti, red heart favour boxes and card sign balloons. Happy Birthday Jill xx

Will you be my bridesmaid?

Last weekend, Chloe asked her friend to be her bridesmaid on cupcakes....how cute. I'm sure she said yes! We hope Chloe and her future bridesmaid enjoyed the cupcakes xx
