Cupcakes for Fozia London

Here's some cupcakes we did for Fozia - for her new line of stylish, ethical organic baby wear - Fozia London. Fozia was doing a trade show and wanted some cupcakes with her logo on for her stand. We wish Fozia the best of luck with her range and we hope all her potential buyers enjoyed her Fozia cupcakes! x

Pink cupcakes for Samanda's 21st

Last Thursday we did some cupcakes for ex Big Brother twins Sam & Amanda's 21st birthday party. The girls love pink, so we created a tower of baby pink, pink and hot pink cupcakes topped with pink, white and silver decorations and lots of sparkle, and finished the stand with sweeties, pink roses and butterflies. The girls loved the cakes. Michelle and I went along to the party, which was on a boat on the Thames, where the pink and sparkly theme continued with candy floss machines, chocolate fountains, and a great company called Jinny Rainbow doing these amazing glitter tattoos...Michelle and I had to get one!! Everyone working on this event was really lovely, and we had a great time. Happy Birthday Samanda!! xx

Marry Me? cupcakes also take the cake!

As we mentioned yesterday, we are now well into wedding season, a subject picked up on yesterday by the Cupcakes take the cake blog, who featured their favourite 'creative wedding cupcake ideas' taken from cupcakes seen on Flickr, and they included our 'Marry Me?' cupcakes. Even though these cupcakes were not for a wedding, they seemed relevant. We made these cupcakes a while ago now for a lady to propose to her guy after a dinner - he, of course said yes! Anyway, as we mentioned earlier this week, cupcakes take the cake is one of our fave blogs, so thanks for continuing to mention us from accross the pond guys! x

Hen Party fever at bake-a-boo

We are now well into wedding season, and bake-a-boo has been busy baking lots of wedding cupcakes, but we're also celebrating lots of hen parties, with tea parties at bake-a-boo, as well as making cupcakes for hen parties outside of bake-a-boo. Here's some cupcakes we did for Chloe's Hen party this Saturday. The girls went to Ascot for the day and then had dinner, followed by bake-a-boo cupcakes! Happy Hen Do Chloe! xx

Ethan's 10th Birthday Tea

Earlier this month we celebrated Ethan's birthday at bake-a-boo. Ethan and his friends had a little tea party to get all the energy they needed before they went off on a wall climbing activity. We hope they enjoyed the rest of the day. Happy Birthday Ethan! x

Grace's Baptism cupcakes

Last Sunday we made these cupcakes for Little Grace's Baptism. Pink and lilac cupcakes with Grace's Baptism and the date written and topped with flowers and daisies and a little bit of purple sparkle. We hope Little Grace and her family and friends had a lovey day x

A few 50's

This weekend we had a few '50' cakes. Two for Claire's 50th Birthday party, and another for the Lovely Natasha at West Hampstead Physiotherapy to give to her Mother for her 50th Birthday.

Best Beginnings cupcake boxes

Here's some cupcakes we did for our friends on Mill Lane - Best Beginnings. This week they held an evening reception, and these boxes were to give to their patrons, as a thank you gift. We were invited to this lovely event, but unfortunately we couldn't make it as we were up to our necks in cake making, and couldn't get away on time! But to lovely Alison and all at Best Beginnings, we hope your event was a huge success, and that the cakes went down well! x

Cakes for Volunteer Week

This week has been volunteer week. We did some cakes for the lovely people at BrAVA - The Brent Association for Voluntary Action, for an event they were doing as part of the weeks events. They had vanilla, chocolate and strawberry cakes. We hope the event was a huge success guys, and an enjoyable day for the great people who give up their time to volunteer in the local community - keep up the good work!

Many Happy Returns

Last weekend was a bit crazy, we had lots of orders for Birthday parties, and a wedding. The ovens and us were working hard! Also yesterday was bake-a-boo baker Jonas's Birthday - Happy Birthday Jonas!!
